DPSEAM is a non-profit professional association representing physicians and residents. DPSEAM is dedicated to providing patients with safe, high quality, expert, and physician-directed aesthetic medical treatments. We provide both a physician and patient website to learn about the organization, report issues, and find member physicians. We also support dermatology medical student interest groups and encourage adherence to our principles.
DPSEAM provides a unified voice of physicians for educating the public on practice of physician led aesthetic medicine. We are a recognizable brand that symbolizes safety and excellence to current and prospective aesthetic patients.
DPSEAM communicates our positions on ethics, safety, and efficacy in aesthetics to the American Academy of Dermatology and state dermatological societies. We communicate with health and human service legislative committee chairs and voting members within our members’ states.

Dr. Shah is a board-certified dermatologist. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, in 2007. Dr. Shah completed his residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. with an internship in internal medicine.
Prior to creating Clarus Dermatology, Dr. Shah started the dermatology department for HealthEast Clinics. He graduated magna cum laude from Ursinus College with departmental honors in Biology. He is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, the Tri-Beta Biological Honor Society and the Sigma Xi research honor society.
Dr. Shah is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), the American Medical Association, a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery and a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. He serves on the Policy Council for the Minnesota Medical Association. In 2016 he was elected vice president of the Minnesota Dermatological Society as well as president of Doctors for the Practice of Safe and Ethical Aesthetic Medicine. He currently serves as the deputy chair of the Coding and Reimbursement Task Force at the AAD. Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Shah enjoys travel with his family, cooking, riding his motorcycle and track days with his car. Malinee Saxena is a brilliant and energetic dermatologist based in Inver Grove Heights, MN. Dr. Saxena accomplished both her undergraduate and medical training at the University of Minnesota. She completed her internship at the Hennepin County Medical Center and her residency in dermatology at the University of Minnesota.

A graduate of the Mayo Clinic Medical School, Charles E. Crutchfield III, M.D. serves as Medical Director of Crutchfield Dermatology, P.A. in Eagan, MN. He is also a Full Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
